    On Delay is Okay, Gols carefully and delicately crafts rhythms and structures into an elegant maze for Ojoo Records’ second release. The four tracks accompany, comfort, and deliver you to the conclusion, leaving a sense of giddiness at the ride just experienced.
    The earliest ideas behind the EP emerged back in 1998, and they’ve only gained strength over time. A single minute on a Kings cassette mixtape captivated Gols for years; Quantum is his later interpretation of that minute into a full, pumping track. I See, with its blissfully evolving bassline, shows Gols’ talent for producing the music he loves to play. Soolepoh, like a rush of truth to the head, is melancholic and triumphant, with pads and drums harkening back to the early days of tech/house. Longtime inspiration Audio Werner supplies a remix of I See to complete the story. Premium-quality groove and dancefloor deliverance.
